I love the size, it’s not ginormous but it’s not a desk sized Evap cooler. It’s quiet until it runs out of water of course, I love the mini ice packs that you put to cool the water down, it works really well to help cool down a room, just keep in mind it does cause humidity because it uses evaporation to cool down a room.
