I bought this for my mom who recently went to rehab and now uses a walker. She really likes it and she is very picky. It rises all the way up over the tub level. It's easy for her to sit on and she likes that it goes down into the water. This chair allows her to take a bath independently and is so much cheaper than getting a walk in tub.

This thing has worked flawless. I purchased it for my 82 yo mother to be able to use her bath tub with jets again. We had looked to replacing it with a walk in tub. But the cost plus you must sit in it while it fills up and drains ..UGGH. But this bath lift lets my mother lower herself into tub at will. She has used it a LOT since the purchase.

This product is very useful for a person with limited mobility. Seat on the side panel, lift legs into the tub, push a button and the chair lowers itself to about 1 1/2 inches from the bottom. Runs on rechargeable power low voltage and waterproof. Be sure to plug in the control all the way till it clicks. This also applies to the charger. My only gripe is the suction cups at the bottom don't really hold the chair in position. But that is not really a problem. A good quality product.

I have taken showers for several years because I couldn't get out of the tub and I couldn't afford a walk in tub. I finally decided to try a bath lift. I wish I had gotten it years ago!! This is the best solution to taking a bath without fear of falling getting trap in the tub for hours and have to be rescued. to be able to push a simple button on my controls and get the warm of soak water was grand !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This came sooner than anticipated. Thank you for your prompt delivery!!! Mom never used to shower until it became unsafe to take a tub bath. It's probably been 5 years since she has had a tub bath. Mom is 94, frail and 100lbs. This item made it possible for her to sit safely in the tub for a warm, leisurely 30 min soak and bathe herself as opposed to the 15 min shower with me washing her. My 86-year-old mother who lives alone has been using a shower bench for several years since she can't get up from the tub on her own. I ordered this 2 days ago and it came by noon today. I'm in heaven. The assembly directions all makes sense once you have it together but not doing it the first time. LOL I was hit by a car in early April of this year and suffered 11 fractured vertebrae and had 5 surgically fused. I lost a lot of muscle tone and flexibility so taking a bath was nigh impossible without two people assisting me in and out of the tub. I really longed for a good soak and today after setting this lift up I got in and out of the tub completely unaided. It is a glorious feeling to regain one more measure of independence. Soaking in a relaxing tub coes more to make me feel whole than all the pain killers in the medicine cabinet. I am one very satisfied 70 year old customer.
